Geotechnical Engineering Department
SABA Engineering PLC, a geotechnical consultant, has a broad client base, serving public, private, and international organizations, including contractors, architects, developers, municipalities, private enterprises, religious institutions, and individuals.
Their expert team of geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, pavement/material engineers, and drillers utilizes cutting-edge techniques for geotechnical investigations, drawing on extensive field experience to provide effective solutions for potential construction-related challenges. With over 150 geotechnical investigation projects completed since its founding in 1993, SABA Engineering PLC specializes in subsurface investigations, core drilling, and pavement design for various infrastructure projects, such as multi-story buildings, dams, bridges, factories, fuel depots, highways, and telecommunication towers.
Field Investigation and Pavement Design Division
In foundation investigations, tasks include general geological assessment through borehole drilling, test pits, logging, in-situ tests (e.g., SPT, DCP), laboratory testing, and Geotechnical Recommendation Reports.
For road geotechnical surveys, activities encompass soil investigation, construction material assessment, existing pavement analysis, in-situ testing (e.g., Benkelman beam deflection, DCP), laboratory testing, traffic surveys, and report preparation, including soil/material reports, pavement thickness design, material specifications, and engineering reports.
