Established in 1992, SABA Engineering PLC began as a specialized geotechnical engineering consultancy in Ethiopia, founded on a commitment to technical excellence, professional integrity, and dependable engineering solutions.

Over the years, we have evolved into a multinational, multidisciplinary engineering organization serving clients across Africa. Our journey has been defined by continuous growth, technical innovation, and a dedication to addressing the continent’s diverse infrastructure and development needs.

Through hundreds of assignments across numerous African countries, we have built valuable experience working with governments, development institutions, international contractors, private investors, and local communities. These experiences continue to strengthen our expertise and shape our approach to delivering sustainable engineering solutions.

Africa’s rapid urbanization, industrialization, regional integration, and economic growth present significant opportunities for infrastructure development. Meeting these demands requires innovative thinking, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the environments in which we operate.

At SABA Engineering, we view every project as an opportunity to contribute to Africa’s transformation. From geotechnical investigations and engineering design to project management, construction supervision, and multidisciplinary consultancy, we strive to deliver solutions that are technically sound, economically viable, environmentally responsible, and socially beneficial.

Our focus extends beyond project completion. We aim to create lasting value for our clients, strengthen communities, and contribute to resilient infrastructure that supports sustainable economic growth and improves quality of life across the continent.

Our success is built on the expertise and dedication of our multidisciplinary professionals, supported by continuous investment in people, modern technologies, innovation, and international best practices.
